Business Obligation to Help the Community
As a businessman, I committed early in my career to serve my community. As a community service volunteer with both the Ruritan and Exchange Clubs I learned quickly that some business owners could not care less about giving back to the community they depend on for their profits. We need to appreciate the ones who do show they care and patronize their establishments.
I have worked with both the Henrico County Extension Serice as a volunteer and supported the efforts of the Virginia National Guard Family Readiness Program. We are curently working on a medal program to recognize the children of Virginia National Guard troops deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our goal is to help them understand the community appreciates the sacrifice they as well as their mothers and fathers have made.
Look around and pick out a chariety you can support. If you need help, give me a call. 804-515-0300.
